from Blackburn, Lancashire in the U.K. has been with us since
September 2004. Anna
came to the USA 15
years ago working originally at Camp America and studying for her Degree in Criminal Justice. She
has had plenty of Managerial experience including
managing a Boot Camp for
Juveniles. (This is True)

Kids She's a Hard One".She lived mostly in Massachusetts, moving to Sunny
Florida in 2004.

yes!" Anna became an American Citizen in 2006.

James is
our Bar Manager who also takes care of our Beer stock
and ordering. He is an
avid Football fan from Birmingham in the U.K. He is a keen
golfer and boater quite good on the wake board. He Came here in
search of his parents who
have a business in Kissimmee Churchills English Tea Shop
and
British Grocery, they thought
they had managed to leave
him at home in Birmingham,when one night
when they sneaked out of
the house under cover of darkness and came to make a new life here in
Florida. The peace
was not to last! on his World Wide Search he
visited Florida and
bumped into them!
all was forgiven and
now we have to suffer
him at the George & Dragon
(However he does Know a lot
about Football) James collates all our football program on this
website: so any complaints to James at the E-mail below please

Our
"Kitchen Manager" Chef! Emma-Mary From
Wantage, Oxfordshire in the U.K. works in our Kitchen she does all
the "British Things" you know! the Yorkshire Puds, Mince
Pies, Bacon Wrapped
Sausage, and (Quiches
for the Staff, if we are Lucky) She also Holds a record for setting the kitchen
on fire "Baking Yorkshire Puddings" ?? Flambe????3 times and going strong! We are on
First Name terms with the Orlando Fire Crews. She came to the USA on the
Mayflower, no! only joking! she was working as a line cook
with the White Star Shipping Line on the Titanic.
A possible excuse
for Emmas Pyromania is the fact that her birthplace and town where
she was brought up (Wantage) was the same as King Alfred the
Great's Birthplace Yes you know! the first king
of England, the one who Burnt the Cakes!

Reminising about
her school days Emma mentioned that in Wantage as
Christmas tradition some of the girls would remove their
Knickers and scale the Statue of Alfred the Great and
hang their Knickers on the Helmet of the Great King.
Presumably returning home Knickerless! Not a pritty
site!

Harold Shine  
 
Harold
started with us shortly after we opened in 2004 as a P.R Guy
promoting our Pub to tourists on International Drive. He then
moved to our Kitchen as a cook, then worked in our bar as a Bar
Tender went back to the Kitchen again cooking our finest
"British Food" yet again he has found himself back
in the Bar serving the wildest Cocktails.
He is a good alrounder who
puts his hand to almost anything in the Pub Trade. He is a
true American Boy with ancesters from Ireland, he was born in
Conneticut and moved to Florida when he was around four years
old. He is into big cars but can't seem to keep
them all in one piece for very long, keeping the repair shops in
work (we think he may be related to Nigel Mansell)
Heaven help us, he has recently bought a Harley Divison Motorcycle,
give him plenty of room!!

Bar Tender
Joined us in July 2005. Originally from Harrogate in
North Yorkshire in the U.K.
Glenn started to be interested
in the Alcohol and Pub trade whilst attending school, rumor has
it that whilst in his forth year he and a friend
obtained bottles of wine and got slightly the worst for wear
and went into class in a terrible state. To this day Glenn is quite
partial to a tipple, his favourite beer, Stella Artois,
wine of course Champagne, he has been known to do a cracking
Madonna on Karaoke ! including the raunchy dancing!
On his night off of course. Glenn traveled a lot in his youth, he came to the US
visiting New York for a short time on his way to
Asia. Glenn worked as a waiter at a Hong Kong Steak
House! but! found it dificult as he could not speak
Cantonise he was quickly tranfered to welcoming diners at the
door I presume where he could learn the "welcome phrase" off
patt That did not last long either. On returning to
the UK he went to London sharing a flat with Kaori Tsuchida
& Yumi Okamura (name
droper) two Japanese girls who played in
their own band Yumi Yumi and also appeared on Top of the Pops
with the band "The Go Team" had the had a number
of jobs in London including working in the "Toy
Kingdom" at Harrods he wont tell us what he did
there? We think he was one of Santa's little Helpers. He
left the U.K. yet again, this time to Japan working as an
English Teacher (Poor Kids).
Glenn settled in Florida and is
enjoying the "Florida Lifestyle.

Julia Haimes    
Julia is one of our team
of Bar Tenders.
Born in Cyprus with Welsh
Partents (her dad was in the British Air Force), You Know Stiff
Upper Lip, Handle Bar Moustash, Thank God she has shaved
that off ! (only joking) Julia is still a bit POSH! She lives in
Kissimmee with her British husband a dog 5 Rabbits (ond counting).
When we find out a little more about her you will be the first to
know!!

   New Years Eve 2006
Steve is
our Resident Musician (and Draft Boddington Tester) he joined
us shortly after we opened in 2004 he plays 4 nights a week year round. Steve's
Music is quite unique, he plays guitar as normal with his hands, he plays bass pedals with
his stocking feet, harmonica and drums with? well come and see him
for yourself!. Steve is
from Stoke Newington North London, in the U.K.
Following in his Fathers and Grandfathers footsteps playing music all his working
life. Whilst in the U.K. Steve Played the Savoy,
the Royal Albert Hall and the world famous Nags Head
in Holloway Road he left London in 1977
and arrived in the
U.S.A. in 1980 Yes it took him three years! Rumor has it the came via all the Caribbean Islands Playing in many local
Bars, Night
Clubs and Hotels He
has played everywhere, small bars, Cruise Ships, Ceasers Palace, MGM Grand, in Las
Vegas, the last two venues he played Poker and Roulette. Steve also plays
with a Classical Rock Orchestra Nova Era
